I'd like to amend this. In Bastok, Campaign battles now often occur within seconds of each other; there is often not enough time to both accept a campaign op and teleport out of the city in the same break between battles. 10 minutes is more the outside figure of how much time can, occasionally, lapse between battles.

This week, Windy lost Sauromugue but took Sarutabaruta. They actually lost all progress partway through, but managed to claim it within the last few days of the week, even though it was still not certain towards the end whether it was going to be taken.

Bastok and Sandy never managed to make a dent in the beastmen's holdings.

I heard people shouting in Bastok not long ago for people to deploy to West Sarutabaruta between battles. It may be that the general concensus has become for the whole server to push toward taking/holding one single zone a week.

Meanwhile, we've taken to going to Windurst Waters [S] to get sigil and head out to other zones for xp and such, given that the general wait to manage both in Bastok is now on the order of a couple hours.

They really need to fix campaign in cities.

I've practically given up trying to teleport places due to the constant campaigns in Bastok. I don't care if the cost is 2X to teleport somewhere, just LET ME DO IT! It's annoying how there's maybe a 1 minute gap between campaigns to teleport....Yea that's not enough time to get to where I need to go.

Overall, I'm really disappointed in SE right now. Either they're going to make Campaigns less frequent or implement some other way of traveling around.

I finally got to a city to get my rank evaluated, and just as before when I'd tried, battle was going on but the guy was not there. And since my tag had expired (LOVELY), I couldn't even participate in the battle. That's fucking lame. I lost my rank because EVERY SINGLE TIME I went to Sandy (S), I couldn't get the eval done before I had something else to do (often IRL or just game events).

Please fix this ... on Hades we show no signs of ever getting a zone back from the beastmen. /sigh.

On Diabolos, Windy just finally broke out of Windurst Waters [S]. We control it and the Fort now, which I think still means we can be attacked in town, but it's way more likely to get attacked in the fort. Yesterday, I fought a battle that went almost twice as long as some of our town battles. We actually had two belfry's erected in the same battle and cycled through 5 yag units. Those Yagudo Genja that the belfry summons are a pain, too. Like jumped up campaign bosses without the 2hrs. Cool looking, but a pain to kill off.

Nice thing however is that once the ops became available, we ended up with a bunch of options that are almost never offered. Like the higher levels of Granite Rose and Steel Resolve. Good star ratings on them, too.

I can confirm that Kitalrez Windy has been in termoil for 2 tally cycles. but as of this week the managed to take over another area besides there home town. Meanwhile Bastok lost Grauberg and gained North gusta. And I have never been wooped on so hard as we have been since we took back north gusta. they are in constant attack mode and they bring in the big boys. Hundredfist, Herohunter then the Jihad units followed by the Shadowhand units. we usualy have between 25-65 players at a hot spot and you will find most are all dead or have retreated after the jihad units have retreaded successfuly. Shadowhand units are just way to distructive with there Teir IV ga spells the wipe out many many players. I must admit that the xp I get for these are great and rival me spending time in a decent pty. somthing about using my SMN to buff for ~8 mins the do a evaluation to get 1000+xp then repeat again for a simular amount is satisfying.

In the last tally on Kujata sandy lost Vunkerl Inlet but gained Jugner, Windy managed to break out and take West Satu while Bastok are still stuck under seige for most of the time.

And I'm not sure when happened but last night there was a CB in Eldieme Necropolis that went on for at least 3 hours due to nobody bothering to kill the orcs that were wandering about the place. Everyone including the NPCs were just bashing on the fortifications for the whole time.

I feel for the past-Windurstians on Hades. Bastok on my server has been on the ropes for 5 weeks and counting, so I can sympathize.

However, I'm glad that Bastok wasn't the first nation to lose control of its city to the Beastmen. Lastok tends to be the butt of most jokes.

Shadowfand is also really tricky, it really depends on which confederate force gets him that week, and how they've been countered up until that point. For instance, if the Yags get him, he'll start pounding our forces in between yag waves. However, since our forces are mostly mages, this doesn't make a giant dent, (unlike KB in the same situation). Really, best case scenario for Shadowhand is to have him attack the Fort, and it's only best case if enough players have been voting for Patriarch Protectors that Nyumomo and the BST brigades show up. Those three worms she summons are probably the single best NPC unit at cracking down on Shadowhand we've got. The melees can hold the Voids' attention for awhile, but those worms do all the real work of destroying them. Plus being pets, they're completely expendable, so long as someone keeps her healed, we have tons. If campaign hasn't been countering the enemy forces very well, however, they'll be rolled over just like every other unit at the fort.

Campaign requires much more strategy with regards to damage type than most players seem to be willing to put in, IMO. LIke with the Shadowfang Voids, they're elementals for Christ's sake, why on earth do melees run up and start swinging? Just have one person get it's attention and pull it to some mage NPCs. So long as you keep it busy, they'll kill it for you long before the next wave arrives. I wish Square had given us more incentive to work together on these battles, if they had we'd be doing a lot better right now.

                                That is BS.

Beastmen have been sieging Bastok, they have not taken it under control. Windy has been struggling with 1-2 zones normally, and Sandy has been going with 3-4 zones normally.
