yeah some ls members cant log in atm but others can so it seems to be luck? try shutting down your computer idk

I am having the same problem. Restarting did not seem to help. It seems that the error happens after it checks for new messages, so I'm most of the way logged in, but it just keeps popping up with POL-0011.
The odd thing is, I was logged in about 3hrs ago and had no problems.
BTW, the front page message was for tuesday's maintenance

One of my friends also suddenly started having this same problem a few hours ago when he was able to log on just fine earlier this afternoon. He's tried restarting and resetting his modem to no avail. We're stumped as to what to do... -- PteryxComment

First time poster here. The same thing is happening to me, I can almost log in, sometimes it even brings up my friends list, but can't choose to play FFXI. I am in line for Web-chat help/support, I'll keep you up to date if I can an answer before I go to bed. ^_^Comment

yeah i totally lied to my g/f so i could play ffxi tonight (seriously between g/f aggro, other friends, and work i haven't been to an event in 2 weeks) and no one can get on so it was cancelled
