What about a team with people who have "Hybrid Classes", or - at the very least - multiple jobs?
Someone with NIN and PLD fully leveled, hell, PLD/NIN
SCH/RDM
RDM/WHM - /DRK /BRD
I'm just speculating. It's hard enough to organize huge runs when everyone might not be getting everything (IE, Dynamis).
I don't think it matters what combination of jobs you have, you're still not 6-manning chariots or Odin.
You can do the Assault (both normal and Nyzul) with 6, and the TAU mission storyline if you haven't already, but the Salvage and Einherjar are going to take alliances, I think.
The thing that would make it take over your life is if you tried to do the Assault, Salvage and Einherjar all in parallel to get around the timer restrictions...
