Hey all I'm a long time reader but first time poster first off I'd like to say hi second of all I'd like to say a little bit about myself and about this convention >^.^<

Alright so I'm in Ontario Canada and I'm looking to find other fans of ffxi that might be heading out to Anime North this year, now I will admit there is some slight other motive I'm getting this out too, recently I came to take over being the Site Manager of Final Fantasy News, Trailers, Screenshots, Previews, Reviews, Guides -- Final Fantasy XI: Treasures of Aht Urhgan Vault (yes it is out of date but we're working really hard on it) and while at anime north we're going to be featuring a panel for ffxi members to get together for a bit to discuss the game, answer questions, tell heroic stories and although not confirmed yet hoping to even have a costume contest. SO really was wondering if anyone might be going it's held in Toronto May 23-25th

Also if anyone is going we are also looking for 1-2 more people who might be intrested in working on the panel with us as well if this sounds like something you might be interested in pm me >^.^<

When is it again? I'm in Ottawa and I have a few friends who've been to it before, though I myself haven't ever gone.


EDIT: LOL I'm a tard @.@ didn't see. Okay so 23-25th hmm... my only problem is I don't drive @. @; but I might be able to arrange something.

There's a group coming down from Ottawa (there always is, it's a tradition) maybe you can find them and hook up with them. Try and see what you can find here: Teahouse of the Maple Moon - Message Board - Yuku

As for meeting up with others, I'd like to, but I don't know that I'll have the time. I don't know when the panel is, or how that might conflict with my schedule ... but if you're at Anime Name That Tune, drop by and say hi to me (I'll be in the tech booth or area, depending which room we're in.)

These next two weeks are not going to be a lot of fun, getting ready...

I'll see if any of my friends want to go and if I can work something out. I have a Cousin living in Toronto but I'd actually rather avoid him if I can >. > and my folks can't really just up and go either so I doubt I'll be able to make it unless some of my friends want to drive there and spring for a Hotel for a night or two.

I'll def swing by if able, yeah I'm not sure when it's going to be we haven't received confirmation of when it is only that it's going on lol lol

Anyone who was looking to come to the panel at anime north in Toronto Ont. we have confirmation now! the panel will be starting at 6 pm in the Toronto Congress Center for anyone interested in showing up we have lot of fun topics to discuss will be lots of fun hope to see everyone there >^.^<
