I don't recall seeing that anywhere in the ToS. If people are being annoyed they can always /blist (isn't there a filter for /random already? and if not SE could simply get off their lazy asses and add one rather than banning people for retarded shit like this)

Then you didn't really read it because chat log spamming is a form of harassment. First offenses usually get warnings, but as the GM noted there was a strike on the account already and that always results in a suspension.

I think the biggest shame is that he didn't get a witty GM with a sense of humor =(

Because you should. I never saw a suspension when I reported people for spamming "/em points and laughs for the galka rdm" something to that effect. GMs just told me to Blist them. now why should i blist over 20 players when they could potentially have a msg for me?

sorry Sevv, its a pretty weak reason to get suspended, but I doubt there's a whole lot that can actually be done about it since the GM was actually dotting their "i"s and crossing their "t"s. amazing how petty some people in competing hnmls's can be

We were spamming /random, because there was a 200k pot for the first 555. We were also in Behemoth's Dominion.

Ping screwed up a bunch of permissions, so I haven't been able to fix everything that has been needed, other than that you can look at the wiki staff for not working, kitten has revamped his guides, most others haven't even touched the wiki. May be some time for spring cleaning.

And for the second part - that just made you my 'Hero for the day' that was just fantastic! I got quite a few odd looks from my co-workers for just cracking up after reading that

Personally I'm impressed that you got a temp ban for that Sevv! When I first started the game there was a little Tarutaru stalking me every where I went spamming the emote /em humps Jaice's leg. Creepy as hell and annoying, I put him on a /blist but thanks to bugs that were yet to be discovered it didnt stop emotes from getting through, after I called a GM (with the taru still humping my leg...) He told me to "Put him on your ban list or go into your mog house and lose him, you can also log out to a different character." I was thrilled at the capability that the GM wanted to do absoloutly nothing and was 'warned' to watch my language during my reply after he offered up his gem of advice.
