The Next Level Item Watching

This is paramount to do before investing your money, you must target items that you can safely invest in with minimal risk. This Is generally Crafting materials, There are oodles of different ones to choose from, and often times a minimal amount on the AH. You must look for items that are used in common recepies. So the demand for them is always there.

Essentially what you are looking for, are moderatley priced items, 10-20K a stack. This will give you some room to play with in price manipulation. Once you set the price low and people resupply if you cant buy at your price simply continue to sel your item back to yourself to show a continuing market trend. Eventually people will be forced to sell thiers at your price.

Targeting When to Sell your items

Eventually the price will slowly go back up over time while your not controling it. Let it takes its natural course and unload your merchandise 5K or so higher than the listed price. Now you buy the rest of the stock at your price and resell it to equal your loss. Eventually the Item will be set and you can make your gil. if you figure you do this on 20 items and have a profit of 10K per sale thats 200K for doing nothing.

Now you can take this and apply it to any items this was just a basic guide to Item monitoring. Most common Items and easiest to manipulate, crafting materials, medecines, ninja tools (bags), popular armor (Seer's), stay clear of the +1 stuff as it is rare in itself.

Frankly, as a fairly new player who still has to work hard to make gillz, I'll tell ya this much; When some person comes along and pulls exploits like the OP describes, I will spend hundreds of thousands of gil to destroy them. People shouldn't play with things they clearly do NOT understand.

When those few of us crafting certain items are working hard to make some gil, and some a-hole comes along and tries to destabilize the entire market for personal profit, Windy crafters screw them HARD (at least in Windy on Remora). I've had quite a few chats with JP/NA/EU crafters where we've been making solid cash on a certain synth and along comes an idiot who thinks he can screw us all by undercutting (like 50%?!?!?!) the prices we've been working on for weeks; we plot and execute revenge. Undercut us? fine, your merch will be bought (by us) and the price restabilized as quickly as we can - and prepare to farm your own ingredients, 'cus chances are you've pissed enough of us off by now to go and clear out the supply of supplies needed.
