Anyway to bypass the 30 fps cap SE seems to have put? and also anyway to set the client to allow more than 20 sound fx at once?

FFXI was originally designed to work on dial-up service, and from what I understand the client has yet to be updated and I doubt it ever will.

It has nothing to do with dialup and everything to do with PS2.

Dial-up / PS2 ~ same crappy technology! Until the devs agree to update the game for PS3 were stuck with this client!

I'm quite fine with the current setup as I played on PC, and will again if/when I return. 30fps looks and plays fine, but it'd be so much better if they would just update the client and add some things...hehe
