Blizzard is looking for new ways to keep you hooked and take your money. This works pretty well for them.

Though I suppose I can't speak too much about it, I'd totally buy a figurine of Dak.

Actually, it's not Blizzard that's doing it. It's a third party company, though they obviously have Blizzard's permission and probably pay them royalties or something.
