From something I remember reading of in past posts, although rather blurred in my memory.... is it true that you can use NPC teleports to transport yourself to zones near Qufim or Jeuno? And also how to get to the outpost in Valkurm Dunes too?
The way I see it.... the only way to get to jeuno from a main city (Sandy, Bastok or Windurst) is to use the airships, or chocobo, which takes a bit longer. I do not see any other way to be honest.
I just completed a supplies quest in Sandy for the Norvallen Region, and looking at the list "HERE" on the ffxi atlas site for the Norvallen region, the only zone which has an outpost for that region, is Jugner Forest. (so that's obviously where I took the supplies to, since it was the only zone I knew of for that region which had the supplies npc there, and the oupost) It's nowhere near Jeuno though.
Once I had completed the quest, I was half expecting to get a list of zones that I could quicky travel to in the Norvallen region using the teleportation guy in North Sandy, but you only get sent back to Jugner again.
Having another check over things..... Qufim is a region in itself I believe, and I don't think there is a regular teleport that you can quickly get to near there or Jeuno, where you can get FROM a city or another zone, is there?
The gate guard in Sandy at least does not do supply quests to there, since there isn't any outposts in any immediate zones outside Jeuno or near Qufim.
In the past.... few people here have said that airships and the ferrry system are already pointless because of the teleportation NPCs around Vana 'diel, but like I said.... the only quick way to get to Jeuno or Qufim from a main city is to use the airship. And THAT..... I'm rather certain of, unless anyone else knows any differrent.
As for the outpost in Valkurm Dunes.... well there's no NPC that I know of that provides any travel to there, (the "Zulkheim Region") unless I haven't been looking in the right place. But otherwise, you would have to use the regular system of either chocobo, WHM teleport spells, the ferry or airship as I said before. *sigh!!*
