ok i just recieved a buddy pass from a freind but now when i went thru the whole Playonline setup it asks me for my credit card when i got the pass from a freind is that right?

No matter what, even though the first month is free, you need to submit your credit card information to POL or you cannot sign on and play the game.

Buddy Passes don't matter.
