Hello, and thanks a lot for the help!

Okay.... quest done. I now have access to teleport with the nation's npc (for which I presume I will have to build up allied notes to be able to use) and have received the Sprinter's shoes I wanted too. COOL!

To get allied notes (and exp), you can either do Campaign Battles or Campaign Operations. There are Campaign Operations you can do that don't involve any fighting, so you can do them on your WHM. You may even get some when curing with your WHM in Campaign Battles.
WOW!! Are you saying that you don't actually have to do 'ANY' battles or fighting to gain experience points, but I can do (if I choose to) some quest types in the form of campaign ops instead?
That is just..... how can I put it.... WOW!!

This may actually help me out in a way, because I've been wanting to get my WHM to level 44, to make it level with my BLM at 22 so that I can go back and party with that 'til I gain a few levels, then go back and level WHM again.

Whenever I join a party, the number of levels I (and I think, the other members in the party too) have only ever managed to get through before everyone decides to disband, to go off and do other things...... is 2 at the least. (a measly 2. Can you believe that?) So... saving myself on getting to level 45, I think I just want to get 44 right now, and come back to level it some more later on, which is where the campaign ops may come in handy for this.

Does Wiki have any links on what campaign ops are, and how I can go about doing them please? I'm not sure how to find the info on there, but I'll have a try myself I guess.

When it comes to the NM fight in the 3rd quest, can you wait at the pop ??? for the NM and ask others who come to do the NM fight if you can join their party. This is what I did to get these fights done.
Hmm..... that doesn't sound like such a bad idea ya know.
I might just try that, and see what happens. Thanks for the advice there!
