  • Having trouble with mog quest.

How to unlock (Give a Moogle a Break) quest? I think I have enough fame because
I am a summoner with almost all the avatars but 2 the wolf and demon one.
I placed a Bronze bed in mog house but nothing happens, I waited after sunday and checked again but nothing happens. here may be the quest file maybe i did something wrong.

    Give a Moogle a Break
Summary: Moogle House Storage Expansion #1 Realm: Other Type: Inventory & Storage Starting Zone: Home City Starting NPC: Your Moogle [?-?] Required Starting Item: Bronze Bed, Beetle Ring, Power Bow Required Fame In Your Home Nation: 3 This Quest Is Not Repeatable.
In order to activate this quest, you must have placed a bronze bed in your mog house and have level 3 fame in your starting city. After conquest is tallied on Sunday, there is a chance your Moogle may activate the quest and ask you for a power bow and a beetle ring to take home to his families for the holiday you have so graciously given him. He will be gone for a bit, and then return with a brand new mog safe.
Title Obtained: Mog's Kind Master Reward Details: Increases your character's Mog Safe by 10 slots, to a total of 60 spaces.

Re: Having trouble with mog quest.

Before, you had to make sure that you didn't have a rent-a-room in another nation when the conquest tally happened. This was frequently the reason your moogle wouldn't give the quest.

Now that they've taken away 'manual' rent-a-rooms I'm not sure how this would work. Do you have to make sure that the last mog house you used before the conquest tally was your home nations?

Interestingly the Wiki lists this as a requirement "Your Homepoint MUST be set to one in your home nation BEFORE the conquest tally to trigger this quest." I don't remember that, is that what changed with the mog house quests?
I use a Mac because I'm just better than you are.

Assuming you actually do have the fame, and you don't have a different furniture quest cluttering things up...

Make sure you're hanging out in your home city for a while before the conquest tally. The wiki says your homepoint has to be set there, but my homepoint's been Jeuno forever. I only got the quest when I'd been actually staying in Bastok for several days, though.

(I think it used to flag on where your residence was set, but since you can't manually set residence anymore, I assume it just goes off the last Mog House you entered.)

For that quest, it seemed to take more than one conquest tally for me. Also, the bed definitely needs to be in your Home Town and you should probably make your Home Point your room in you Home Town just to be safe. IMHO

It's been a while since I did all the mog house
quests, but I do remember that my moogle only gave
me the quest after the tally, and only if my nation
was first in the standings. Luckily, Sandy is almost
              always first on my server.
