this question has been asked many many many times. It really does not matter what server you join, they are all pretty much the same

They really are all close enough to the same to call them the same. It's not like there's a newbie server or something.

Most of us only play on one server. It's hard to say X is better than Y when you've only got personal experience with X. Unless you've got existing friends in the game, it doesn't matter.

I recommend you pick one that sounds "cool" to you. I'd rather say i'm from Cerebrus than say I'm from Fairy server. But that's just me. ;P

you can also do "/search all mentor" command, this brings up all people who have activated their mentor tag, meaning they are willing to help out new players. Just be careful though, not to piss people off. Don't go looking for handouts, but instead ask people how to get things yourself.
