Can I play FFXI in a banned xbox 360?

Im thinking about buying this game but i have a banned 360... can i play it on the 360 if Iam banned from xbox live?

no you cannot as you need Xbox LIVE Gold to play

No you do not need Gold which is a paid for service. You need Silver, which is free. Now can a banned XBox connect to Live Silver? Probably not.

Yes you do.

To play FINAL FANTASY XI for Xbox 360, you will need:
1. FINAL FANTASY XI
2. Xbox 360 console
3. Xbox 360 Hard Drive
4. Broadband Connection
5. Xbox Live Membership (Xbox Live Silver Membership is free)
6. USB keyboard (recommended)

I was planning on playing FFXI in my bedroom, i have my banned xbox there,... I do have another xbox that is not banned but im not the only one who use it. anyway, i will be playing FFXI very soon...

Mmm... time to lock this thread. Original question is answered, and I don't think anyone else should need to know or care why a particular piece of hardware is banned except the owner.
