What type are you ? Seeker or maker of party?

Very curious. Would like to know what is the population of FFXI players just prefer seeking and what is the population for makers.

Please just choose one of these two, what you prefer.

I seek, making usually falls apart for me, 99% of the time because of sheer bad luck.

Once or twice when make it turns out good, but i just study and work on uni assignments when i seek.

I seek usually. I don't make parties often (I do occaisionally and they generally turn out really good...even if most consider them weird setups).

When seeking I play other video games on my Wii/PS3/360/DS/PSP or clean the house or something. As a RDM main I usually dont have to seek long on that anyway.... I haven't had to seek much on SCH either since I been leveling that...its 22 now.

I usually seek on BST but I solo while lfg. If I get a group, great, faster exp. If not, meh, no harm no foul, just keep soloing.

I flag up and watch movies/TV/internet surf while I wait for an invite unless I'm seeking Meripo (which is rather rare since if I'm XPing atm, it's on BRD).

It's 50/50 for me but I prefer to seek. I just am tired of being a "leader" during the day so when I'm relaxing at night playing FFXI, I just don't feel like being a pt leader.

If I see a grand chance, say BRD and 4 other BLMs, or a BRD, NIN, SAM, WAR, WHM, I'll make a party. Otherwise, I usually seek while working(usually halfheartedly) on something else.

I tend to seek more because I'm so damn lazy, but when I see tanks/healers with their flags up without getting invited, I make my own.

Depends on the situation. If it looks like there's a good mix of jobs seeking, I'll form a party, otherwise I'll take a warp scroll and go do something else.

Even though I was RDM main only for my first couple years, I was always more of a maker than a seeker. Mostly because I was tired of getting crap parties constantly since everyone and their mother was usually desperate for a refresh whore

When I started leveling BLU, it really helped me to already have the "maker" mindset, since competing with 6823549 other BLU for parties isn't exactly a great experience.

Plus I'm pretty impatient anyways

I can't even solo without getting pty invite, it helps having PLD as main job. so basically I mainly seek when i want a party. no point making one when i get a reasonable number of pt invites.

The only time I try to make a party is when I'm really confident in my knowledge of the level range's locations & targets & such. Haven't since I've returned, because I can't remember those things with any kind of precision. I'm not about to be one of those dinks who makes a party and then doesn't know what to do with it.

My main is WHM, and I'll generally just seek ... these days, it seems to be tough to make a PT at the lower levels, so I'll seek there too, and go do other things. It's not much good making a PT if there aren't enough people to fill a certain role...

On my drg I solo and do campaign battles. I rarely seek. If I do join a merit party, its usually with my friends and sometimes I get that party going.

Seeker - who don't feel like making party and rather sit in whitegate seeking 3-4 hours.

Obviously not written by someone who's practiced at seeking. It's perfectly possible to be seeking while soloing, farming, questing, crafting, or, heck, browsing the forums. >_>

This isn't so much a poll as a thinly veiled attempt at belittling people who prefer seeking to cobbling together parties.
