Logging In Issues at Night?

Is it normal to have issues logging in or lagging around 9pm to 11pm Pacific Time on the US West Coast?

Neither my g/f, nor myself can seem to ever connect to POL (via PC) or FFXI during that time, always network busy errors.

How is general internet surfing at those times?

No problems what so ever. We can connect to other games, browse, download, etc without any issues.

Yeah I was getting "network busy" errors the other day (Friday night) around 8pm Eastern Time while I was trying to install and update the game. However I just re-tried and it worked, and now I havent seen the error since.
