I would never attempt to dual box PL myself in a party. Generally it's easy to set the other character on /follow and just mash a cure macro over and over when necessary. Definitely not gonna mess with targeting multiple people.

It's pretty difficult to do, but it can be done. Really, you just need to pay attention to if anyone's going in the yellow/orange. If so, just switch to the other system and throw them a cure.

Took me awhile to get used to, but I'm pretty good at it now.

I've been on the receiving end of PLs at low levels, in and out of parties, whether I wanted it or not. (For getting through level 13 on subless RDM, it actually helped, though.) I grudgingly put up with being PLed in parties at Dunes levels, start complaining in the 20s, and utterly refuse to accept it in the 30s, to the point of letting myself be kicked out of parties from the racket I make. I don't ask for a PLer unless I'm really, really stuck on something I need to level, as I was at BLM (was it 7? 8?) for some time. I discourage them in parties.

Death to PLs, especially those who help R-tards take camps they'd otherwise die in (like these 2 assholes the other day in qufim who were soloing IT worms (one was RDM, one was RNG) at the lake, screwing up my PT pretty bad...


Honestly, gtfo. Don't fucking solo with a PL where you'd normal get reamed, especially when you're ruining the EXP of a party. 6 > 1

I hate having a main healer PL while I'm WHM/RDM with no communication. Of course I'll be enfeebling to help the PT somehow if the PL is healing everyone. And then, the F N PL goes AFK and I get blamed. Just don't like it... Happened once or twice before.

Yeah, you always have to pay attention to the PL, lol! I've been in situations with unreliable pl's plenty of times before. Once when I was leveling WHM in the dunes, we had this guy show up wanting to PL us, run off and return with a higher level job and just start randomly cure-bombing us. A few minutes later, he somehow aggroed a couple gobs and we ended up watching him run off down the beach! XD

It's been quite a while since I've really been pl'd as a whm, but one way I've gotten around that is to throw my own cures into the mix and to make sure to keep a careful watch on everyone's HP even if I'm only serving as support healer beside the PL. Because, you never know...

I like to PL newbie players who join our LS. >_>;

By doing that, I get to chat them up, use bunch /emote's, answer questions about the game, and give out advices. If they are in party, I ask the tanks to keep using Provoke, and let the healers handle as much as they can, so I add a few cures to lighten the load or handle emergencies.

I've taught people to skillchain, magic burst, Sneak Attack, tank, main heal, etc. while PL'ing. ._. Honestly, I'm not an evil PL'er. I think.
