I made my predictions on my LJ

First DNC and SCH within 24 hours - seemed like less than 12 or even 6 this time.
Patch to fix the patch - inevitable, I didn't have any USB issues which was already fixed.
75 DNC or SCH - within 2 weeks, yay for pl
AF released about 3 months from now, someone full AF within a week after

I seriously underestimated the power of power levelling.

I think I picked up the first DNCs on /sea just over an hour after WotG service went live.

Some people also enjoy seeing how fast they can get through things. Look at speed running.

This is about the closest FFXI has to that.

As amazing as it is to see someone grind 75 levels on a new job (or any job for that matter) in just under a week, you act like ffxi isn't full of people that don't have a life or something.

I think that all the people who say that these people have no lives are being a little quick to decide - people do things like this for the sheer challenge of it, like people who spontaneously decide to run constantly for a month or something ... it's an endurance thing, but also they want to know what the job is like at 75 and they figure that the quickest way to do it is to level it themselves.

I want to ask them about the DoT spells, see how they work exactly.

I believe, the class Scholar have some problem that allow experience exploitation/abuse to occur.
There is no way anyone can get 75 in a matter of less then a week.
(its only 6 day people of WOTG release).
It might be something to do with the AOE dot or the "weather" spell making it powerful.

He might be just DOT the heck out of alot monster while gravity-ga them /rdm. Getting like 5000k xp per in matter of 5 min.
