There is no way anyone can get 75 in a matter of less then a week.
To get from lvl 1 to lvl 75 takes 801,350 exp. If we assume someone plays 16 hours a day (which allows for a very healthy 8 hours of sleep) for 7 days, they would have to average 7,155 experience points per hour. I've seen a heavy DD party with just one RDM PLing do 10k exp/hour in the mid 30s.
Empress Ring can potentially provide 9k extra exp over one week's time, but that barely shaves one hour's worth of work. So the impact of Empress Ring is negligible. Anniversary Ring could shave between 3 to 4.5 hours of that work.
If a group of players could be self contained (i.e. not need to rely on random pick up players to round out the pt), and brought along a slew of their own dual-boxed PLers, I could definitely put going from 1 to 75 in less than a week in the doable category.
A smartly built party should be able to spike above 7k exp/hour provided they bring enough PLing support. Couple that with players willing to sleep less than 8 hours a night, and I think a group could over come time lost due to travel. Heck, they could even enlist the help of others to bring them select gear upgrades along the way.

This is exactly what I was saying. The 75SCH is not the work of a single guy, it is the combined effort of a dedicated group of individuals. Now, if in fact it is a solo effort (with pick-up parties and travel back to town periodically for regear) then it is absolutely monumental.
Research, is the most obvious. People want to know what it can do. Why beat around the bush? Get together and PL the f out of it, run your tests, post the results and complain.
Being the first does not mean being the most informative.

You could also argue that it simply furthers the idea that what works at 75 must work at 30.
The 'research' that will go into the job will begin and end at 75. There was no way there was time to understand the jobs abilities and limitations as they leveled up, there was just no time.
They did it because they wanted to. They wanted to be able to say they were the first. There was no altruistic drive to research anything, they didn't do it to benefit everyone else. They just wanted to do it.
