kerio: with FFXI's community it will probably never happen, especially since SE will probably never make an RP server.

I suppose someone could ask them about that at fan fest, although it's really a suggestion, and one that many people wouldn't give a shit about.

back to access problems though... do you think popularity will go down if you have to travel all the way to your nation to invite people into your mog house? Not everyone can warp to the same nation...the warp taru only allows you to warp to your home nation, so what if your mh is in sandy and your friends home nation is in windy? How can you fix this without making it super easy to travel?

That makes me so sad that people might not care about stuff like this ><
I mean... what's wrong with sharing tea with some friends? At least SE should make some different areas in whitegate and Jueno then... i mean think about it. Whitegate has that tea house right? Why not make a different zone and put a really big teahouse or restaurant there where people can gather and interact?
It may sound dumb... and people probably won't do it, but if you make it easily accessible, put a few decent items you can buy from npcs, make some new music for the area, and put a few other things in there, i think it really might help reduce lag in the city and be a fun place! All you need to do is imagine!

Kerio thats the way it is though, everything cant be easy....

The main point of the feature is to show off your MH, you cant do that in a rent a room, so I am sure, that you have to go to your home nation to let them in, they even made mention to that fact.

It's still sad... but i guess we can't have everything.
I guess i'll just have to wait and find out what they really will do. As for the rest of you who read this, post your dreams of what you want your mog house to actually be like! I think i'll make a new thread too...

And it's not inconvenient if you set your home point in your home country. Warping from a city is easy; switch to an unleveled job, walk outside town, target something and hit Attack. That's assuming you haven't unlocked NIN or leveled BLM to 17. Getting back is only 300 gil; those of us who managed to pick up the rare newbie OPs are thrilled to be able to teleport to another nation for a mere 300 gil. Qualifying for the AUW teleport is a lot easier, you just do one quest.

Personally, while this is cool I'm more excited about getting 2 new gobbie bags.

Still, now I have a reason to resume perfecting my humble abode :3

Haha i did two quotes ^^ and you're right, it's not THAT hard if i do it the opposite way... in fact i never thought of it like that. Maybe i should do that from now on, thanks! I did that quest to get to AUW too, and have quite a few outpost warps.

Re: Mog house expansion! What are your thoughts?

Personally, I can't wait for the Mog House invite thing, I had my MH all set up for 'RP-ish' stuff ever since I first started, regardless of whether people RP or not. Though having a chair for my office or stools for my Bar where people could sit down would be awesome...and all that would take would be an addition of a new /emote motion...which they've added before.

Also, it'd be nice to be able to use items inside the MH...so I can put those juices my moogle always gives me at my bar. And maybe some furniture that can show off weaponry like the Mannequin shows off armor...cause I got lots of weapons I like to show off.

Also, didn't they say that the MH invite thing was the first of many ideas of how they wanted to expand the MH's functions and uses? I certainly wouldn't mind getting a bigger space for more stuff.
