use it like you would any other item.

There are resources for this.
Equip it to a ring slot, then wait for the charge to hit 0. The ring'll turn blue on the item list, and then you can use it. Make sure you don't take it off until you use it, if you take it off and put it back on the use timer will reset to 30 seconds.
After you use it, it'll lose a charge and you won't be able to use it again for16 hours.
