3.b) Yes, as long as you do it right and don't push it too fast. Crafting only requires tons of gil if you force it, otherwise you can just go nice and slow making a small profit as you lvl. Research the best items to skill up on and find the best items to sell for profit that you can make at your lvl. And stay flexible, never rely on one recipie or item alone. Mixing up what you make and sell is a good way to prevent oversaturating the market, and yourself, with a singular item. And above all else, when worst comes to worst, remember, NPCs are your friend.

Seeing as you have to pay money to register Tetra Master, and log off FFXI to play it, most people just ignore it and play the real thing.
