Game Problem. Please help!

Im sorry if Im posting in the wrong place right now. Im in a bit of a hurry and I dont have time to look for the right place! A mod migvht move it instead. Thats fine.

Ive just been uninstalling and reinstallng my game becos of a small problem I may have found. But in completing the upadte process, I nkept getting this damned PoL error!

Can anyone work it out and tell me what it means please?
Is it just a connection error, or is there something else which might be causing the problem?

P.S. - what does the R:ToolsEU thing mean at the bottom?
Is that some kind of error at all? I'm not sure what it means!

Also, cant I just download the files from somewhere injstead of having to use the PoL upadter to do it?
I really wish I could! It would madke things 100 %easier for me! /big sigh!

I'm sorry about this. Forget that bit now. My game will not install anymore. It's being a complete pain in the rear!

So I have decided to buy a new version instead. I'm going to try and start a new thread, cause I want to ask peoples opinions on the one I want.

All I'd say is run a complete file check and see if it repairs the issue. If not, call the technical help line on Monday.

The path at the bottom looks like a directory. Possibly your config file is messed up. Try going in and see if there is anything wrong with your FFXI Config (not POL config).
