I Remember something a while back about a chocobo Knight and some others. Please don't flame me I just wanna know what or if there will be other jobs. I read some where that SE said "Jobs" meaning more then one. So if anyone has a idea please Post it. ^^

No, as i hv read some sites i think Time Mage is kinda sure too but we dont know and yes there will be more jobs for WotG

Why is it that every job that someone starts a rumor about, someone else says "maybe it could be used as a new tank"? I'm surprised nobody's suggested Time Mage could be a new tank yet.

Players don't even use half the tank jobs that are already in the game. Why would SE add more?

Unless you mean "it could be a new unintentional tank job that's even more retardedly overpowered than the last unintentional tank job". In which case, I hope SE has improved their balance testing a little and isn't going to let another "Invincible with a 45 sec recast" spell slip past them.

Stop talking about whether everything will be a new tank, and start working with the tanks that exist. And expecting that when you fight "very tough" monsters, they might occasionally actually hit someone for damage.

tell me who in game use mnk as tank?

MNK is the main game tank and no one see it as it they use mnk as DD...
WAR...not a very good tank without shield ans sword/axe and with no /nin WAR is not a very good tank...
THF? with very good gear (Evassion) and /nin too... and how a THF will keep hate?
PLD and NIN are the manin tanks and NIN wasnt suposed to be a tank in the first way so well i think a new tank job would help or maybe a suport job that help tanking instead of /war and /nin (/pld...no one use this and never will and /mnk...well ppl prefer /nin)

then maybe giving something that pld can use for more protection will help that way it could be used as sub job for tanking (granite skin maybe?) at lvl 37 or so

You can /PLD for claiming kings. The Auto Refresh and Flash helps.

I'm seeing more /SAM then /NIN for 2H users nowadays.

The game is moving on nicely as it is. Sure there are some issues here and there, but you can't seriously expect SE to fix all the issues overnight. Plus, they are probably more concern with other things.

On a side not, do we even use tanks anymore? It seems so common that spam parties are starting at lower and lower lvls that the only time tanks are used is for sky gods, kings,....etc. Although it would be interesting if they introduced a new job that could hold hate without using /WAR and actually qualified as a tank (hate tools, damage mitigation...etc) - I'm not talking about NIN/DRK here.

I've never seen a MNK tank before... sound interesting. I'd have to say Time Mage will be in as well. I mean, FFXIO has a sub-forum for it under jobs already...

Personnally, i think there won't be any more new job. There is absolutely no point for SE to hide another new job. Its 1 month till release... So i think they are saving those jobs for next expansion.

btw anyone remember fung shui master ? i think that's also a FF job from FFT.

the FF devs said there will be "more then one" job in this expansion, laster year we did not find out about the last job for ToAU till about a month to release
