Anyone know if you will be able to buy a code for WotG right away?

I am thinking of just picking up one copy of WotG for me and my GF then buying her code for it online to save a few bucks.

Anyone know if codes will be for sale online right away or will this plan fail?

You can get them off Playonline.
I just want to know if there is a lag time before they get put up for buying.
