I think the base idea in the OP is quite acceptable. Not only do we have Poroggos turning players into frogs, but as this game utilises the moon phase quite often, it seems that a temporary bit of lyanthropy seems quite reasonable.

Don't forget that Dracula turns you into a bat with Nocturnal Servitude.

I'd much rather be turned into a wyrm or a morbol or something like that. Why do we only get turned into wimpy critters like bats, frogs and werewolves?

Whatever your opinion is, but personally I'd like to live in a world where people can have freedom of speech without being thrown rocks at their face all the time. This is not our way here at this community.

Except that same freedom of speech includes others being able to voice their opinions about the OP and their threads.

I think it would be cool that they could turn you into a werewolf, however, no charm effect. Once that Gnole is defeated, you turn back to your character with a weakened status that lasts for 1 minute. hahaha.

Maybe I just missed this from before. But I could have sworn that the pictures of the new adversaries on the WotG website didn't have any text accompanying them before.

While checking the site today for details on the newly announced Scholar job, I noticed that the mob pictures now have descriptions with them.

This part, shown on the picture for Gnoles, raised my eyebrow:

Some have gone so far as to speculate the the gnoles are the former vikings of the northlands, thier bodies contorted by dark sorcery.

Vikings of the Northlands? Could this be the 3rd new job for WotG?

I've heard Viking mentioned in rumors as a new job, but this is the first detail of any substance from SE that even made reference to Vikings (at least as far as I know).

I noticed that too, they also messed up Gnats by using the same exact description of Gnoles and they took the concept of Sandworms (creatures who roam the deserst of the underworld feasting on rotting corpses) straight outta Beetlejuice.

Personally, I really hope Viking is the next new job, as it would make sense to have a class from the Northlands following the Gigas and Orcs and clashing with them in battle.

As for the OP, if anything they'd prolly turn you into undead dogs under charmed status.
