A question about having FFXI on two computers

Hi! ive been playing FFXI For two days now
And i really enjoy it i've joined a great linkshell only its american so most of the players will be awake when im asleep but thats not a big deal for now ^^

Anyways my question is
Is it ok? to install FFXI on my laptop cause sometimes i like to play on my laptop
Rather then on my desktop they both run on the same router and stuff
So it doesnt got different ip's..i think?
If i do this im not violating the rules arent i?

Nope, since you can only use (log on) your Playonline ID on one machine at a time it doesn't matter if you have XI installed in multiple machines.

I have a FFXI installation on my computer here at home and at my parents' house for when I go home to visit.

Raydeus is correct, he just worded his reply extremely poorly.

What he means to say is, you can install FFXI on as many computers as you want. It's the POL ID you have that can only be logged onto one location at once (if you try to log on to your laptop while your desktop is online, your desktop will be booted off, and vice versa) that's important, and no, there is no way to access your account at the same time from two computers.
