Item Database

I know the links to the items section on the mainpage don't work, and I assume it's probably cause there's nothing there. I was personally thinking of cataloguing every item I came across in semi-detail, so as to make my playtime easier. I was thinking, if it were even feasible, a system could be set up by ping where registered users could enter data into a php database for items. Things like a picture of the item, the kanji/kana, the reading in katakana, the translation, item notes, how much the item costs from most stores, and how much you can sell it to most stores for...stuff like that. I'd be more than willing to lend a hand with such an endeavor, and it would be very useful to everyone playing, especially those who don't know any japanese, or none at all. The only reason I bring it up is because someone programmed a similar system for me for a comics database, and we had about 10 people who would log in and enter the text for each comic in the database, and within a month, all 900 comics were catalogued and searchable.
