  • Moghancement: EXP

I searched the forum, and while I found a topic relating to this, I could still use a bit of clarification from those in the know.

Each piece of furniture has an aura strength to it. From the wiki that I checked, each piece of furniture is still listed in the "weak" category as far as aura strength goes...

Having read both the wiki page on it and the unconfirmed reports link associated with that page, what possible purpose would having "overwhelming" energy of any type in my mog be if my moghancement is EXP? Are there other benefits?

    Re: Moghancement: EXP

First I've heard about it. I don't exactly have the greatest confidence in reports that are sourced only have having been posted on Alla or KI, but it might be worth some testing, if one can actually borrow enough beds from LS members or what-have-you. That the elemental energy itself doesn't increase the returns is quite well-established, from what I understand.

The report on the talk page that achieving powerful/overwhelming energy from beds alone is what counts sounds either bogus or like some kind of glitch to me, though.

      Re: Moghancement: EXP

I've not seen any reliable results from testing for Moghancement: XP. Few people use it; crafters won't want it because they'll want their crafting bonus (whatever their pick of poison may be). End-game players don't care much about XP loss, period. So only mid to low level players will actually use it and appreciate it, and of those, precious few have the monetary resources to get enough light energy in their mog house to rise above Faint energy.

        Re: Moghancement: EXP

Thanks guys. I felt that the information was a bit conflicting. Some say yes...others, no. I could honestly test this since I'm lvling bst... Testing however, I find to be a bit tedious. I can appreciate the benefits of keeping some exp points. A friend and I generally end up duoing some things that are a bit over our heads. While it's a bit-o-fun to give it a shot, if you do it enough, you end up kicking yourself in the butt.

...I suppose that I could just mule my exp furniture in favor of whatever crafting furniture/items I feel I'll be running...no harm no foul there, just a bit of extra time muling.

        Thanks for your replies.

          Re: Moghancement: EXP

I actually do use this, but I have a miniature airship from GWP. I've never tried to boost it into upper tiers, let alone ever had more than one bed in my MH at one time, but the xp loss amount is certainly a static percentage under most conditions. I can't discount the reports in question but I would definitely take them with a grain of salt.

            Re: Moghancement: EXP

I prefer to use my conquest moghancement and rack up CP. Who knows, we may get new items in WotG that'll make CP valuable again >_>b
