Returning back to the game & looking for friends

Hello everyone,

After being gone a long time, I decided to restart. I'm looking for any advice for a server and if possible to get into a linkshell, so I am not alone.

I will be an active player from 9pm EST til 1-2am every night. Thinking of playing a Hume DRK/WAR. I am trying not to play a character that is looking for group all night. Any input... Thank you!

DRK used to have it pretty bad in the invites department, but I've seen that pick up now a little with the 2handed weapon update, so you shouldn't be waiting forever for parties. DRKs do have some measure of soloability though, with Drain and Aspir available. I've soloed my DRK (level 38) on EP while LFP several times.

WAR sub is pretty good, though you'll want to look at /THF, /SAM, and /NIN also, as all of them can bring some good things to the table and will make you more versatile. And just something to consider. Ultimately, what you want to sub is up to you, I'm just tossing out some other good subs. My husband is DRK main so I know a little bit about the job.

Anyway, I'm not going to tell you to come to Kujata, Sev already covered that, but I'll see you there if you decide to join up. XD

The DiV linkshell is in Kujata though, so you'd have to move or create a new char there.

You can also post in the DiV subforums (Kujata) here in FFXIonline.
