I would not buy keys for FFXI online. I know of no reputable suppliers that will give you registration keys.
Buy the real software package new (not used!). Otherwise you risk getting keys that have been banned or are otherwise invalid.

Ah, gotcha. I had heard they were introducing something like that, didn't realize the Starter Packs were actually available for sale now.

Looks like they've been around since late July. $3.99 for the starter disc with no expansion content plus a 30 day free trial. Very nice!
