I happened to trap a colibri with ninjutsu scroll FP... now I just need to find a strong monster and get his main job to NIN.


Or I could do the same thing with... I don't know... a bunny?

I happned to catch a Gob in Jungle and Shark in sea but couldnt use both. Guess only for stats

After some failed attempts I finally got a Marid(LV 8 from start).

Gave it Auto-regen +5 from Om'aern and named it Merciless Critter

So far I got 5 exp/jettons from loses and 100 from wins

Did 5 fights I think
First was against a marid(lv8) and was a close fight with me loosing
Second fight I can´t remember
Third was against a LS members Dahak(lv9) which also was a close fight, the dahak readied Flame Breath, my marid ran around and took no dmg
After this fight my marid got a LV up

Fourth fight was against another LS members marid(LV8) which didn´t get merciless below 80%
Last fight was against a random wyrm(lv9) which also was killed giving me enough exp for lv 10

My marid´s attack bonus gained an extra +1 from each fight and at lv 10 it got +1 FP

ghost or what ever its name is gives Darkness attack bonus
Ice elemental gives magic attack bonus
Damon Knight gives attack bonus

actually you get a random trait/ability from a mob. the same mob can give multiple abilities. fafnir, aspid, behemoth can be captured. So far no one can make them into reflectors, speculation is need higher rank/skill. The fp on the plates can be used to teach other mobs.

It's impossible to get a battle in with a friend at the moment. All three arenas are jam packed, and you must spam the entry person just to get in. It's extremely frustrating.

Anybody can beat me because Shadow Dragons suck. Marids and those troll dinosaurs seem to be the most overpowered at the moment. I traded a Marid plate just to check out its stats, and it comes with a magic damage resist and 43 FP at level 8. My dragon came with no skills, and 24 FP at level 6. I don't understand why the imbalances are so extreme.

the over powered mobs really seem to be black mandies, mimics, taurs, and my pet ill be going after tonight.

I've seen so many super de duper rare monsters fighting, but I wan't something mundane that people just, overlook.

im going with an antlion hunter. rare mobs try cop areas of you can get gears.

I know on Fenrir, the most popular mobs seem to be Tauri, Wivres and Dragons (Dahak, specifically). One thing I do like about this is how the coloration of your pet is remembered from when it is caught, and is not just the default color.

My monster is Radiant Whispers, a level 7 Buffalo. I started him off with STR+25 and Attack +15%, and he's not lost a battle yet (so far against a Sea Monk, an Apkallu and a Pugil).

Another neat thing I found about this is that it seems to finally end the debate about mob job types. I know when I caught my Buffalo, it automatically gave him the Main Job PLD, and I haven't tested it yet, but I figure that looking at other mobs would give you their job class.

I made a Mandy

He's at level 2 and has 56 FP.

The only issue I've seen is the disparity in the battle levels. For my first match I got put in against a level 7 dragon and got slaughtered. For my second, I got tossed in with a level 5 sabotender and did better but still lost.

I waited 42 min on both fights. I received 50 xp for the first and 25 for the second.

Looking through the posts, I'm not sure how I have 56 FP when others seem lower. I used HQ for everything though. Does anyone know if FP will increase over time through leveling or anything? These numbers seem pretty restrictive so far.

antlions tear it up. they can stay burrowed. so far I've only seen one lose or even come close to it.

Good question, I have the Soultrapper 2000 and I tried to take the image of a skoffin at least 4x and it just tells me that Im unable to take the image, why is that?
I also tried taking images of the Ameretat and the spiders in Wajaom but still unable to take the image, am I missing something?
I got the image of a Mamool (evasion bonus) and Thunder elemental (some lightning thing).
