    Re: Pankration experiences

I spent all weekend snapping shots. Saturday night I had my laptop in bed and fell asleep with me target-following a demon knight at the steps to castle vzhal. I woke up following this guy around snapping shots while being half awake and then falling back asleep.

I went to boyahda last night spent 60 soul plates up there. Got about 8 from both korrigans and elder gobbues. Was terribly frustrating. I wanted the Attack Speed +50 plate.

On the upside, I went AFK in the annihilation cage and was able to sell off a bunch of plates I didnt want.

I tried snapping some korrigans at low health, it still failed a lot. I was following around a soloing whm/bst.

Has anyone used HQ camera with HQ slides? And what are your results?

      So

Does anyone here still play this thing? I know on my server it's used, but not super busy. Anyone work out any real good strats or builds? Find a unique monster that most don't use and turn it into a champion?

Me personally, though I got my Pankemob on the first day it was out, I didn't actually fight with it for a good 2-3 weeks after. At first you had to spam trade to get a match, but nowadays you never have to wait more then 3-5 minutes to actually fight so it's actually pretty nice.

Anyway, my first monster was a Tremor Ram that I named Mighty Prime. Currently War main, with Traits active, a native Attack Bonus, and Instant Stoneskin + Blink, both capped. He's capped at lvl 50 and still has a decent amount of free FP to use, though I'm not sure what I want to fill it with. He wins most fights by relying on the Instant buffs, which give him a near 500hp Stoneskin and 5-6 shadows, while waiting for the mobs to use a special, which he counters with Petribreath. This combo usually gives him a big head start on taking out his opponents to the point that's he's come out of many battles against higher lvl foes unscathed. But he's still very weak against casters, who can get through his blink and drop his stoneskin in one cast. I'm going to try and turn him into a Pld and give him cures to help raise his "Why won't he die!" factor. Flash and Cure III could go a long way in keeping him up and running until he's ready for another shot at Petribreath.

My second mob is a Magmatic Erurka simply named The Vermin. I got him with the sole intention of letting him crawl out, line up, and spew constant waves of firey breath at the opponents. Sadly, all he seems to do is scuttle out, sit there, and cocoon himself every three seconds. He's currently a Pld with an Acc % bonus, but seeing him run out of MP with 2 Cure II's...despite a natural +15% MP, I'm thinking of changing him into a Whm. Though it might not get him to use his fire breath more often, it would give him more MP, debuff spells and higher tier cures. I also might be able to squeeze a Dmg resist trait onto him to make up for the loss of his Pld def. But as of now, he just doesn't win, and can't even hold his own against EM mobs.

So, does anyone out there else still play this and be able to share thoughts and opinions?

        Re: Pankration experiences

Currently I'm using a Dark Knight main (Warrior sub) bunny that loves to kick ass.

        No, really, I'm serious.

He apparently favors casting Poisonga (o.O?) at the moment and only seems to cast drain at the start of battle XD Silly rabbit. Otherwise, he hits damn hard. Other than the usual stuff (Main and sub job and job trait plates - 'cept for warrior traits, not enough FP yet - and black magic scrolls), he's got STR+25 and STR Bonus.

From my experience with him, Whirl Claws hits HARD. VERY hard. He uses it almost all the time, hardly ever uses Foot Kick or Dust Cloud.

        I heart my bunny.
