Are Mega/Giga/Tera flare all really fire element like it says on FFXI wiki?


I'm just curious (been wanting to do Storms of Fate + Apoc Nigh for a long time now - _ -) and Bahamut's always been Non-elemental traditionally with some fire magic.


Is this a mistake/assumption by Wiki, or did SE actually fundamentally change one of their most iconic characters? (for the worse ><)

Yep, it's all fire element. Barfira works wonders in this fight.

Does it matter that much? Bahamut's still a giant death-bringing dragon, what more did you want? It's not like he's a pony or anything.

Would kinda suck if his damage couldn't get resisted. I'd rather see the -Flares do fire damage than spirit damage anyways.

Bahamaut has more problems with being able to be killed within 45 seconds...

Flare in FFXI is fire. So Flare II, Megaflare, Gigaflare, and Tetraflare are to be fire too.
