ABOUT FREAKIN' TIME they came out with a collection for PS2. I've already brought FFXI wtih the HDD on Ebay, but it's nearly impossible to find CoP. Even then, without that set, it would end up more expensive.

Speaking of which, confirm my damn friend request already. We need to play some Warhawk. That PS2 all-in-one pack will be nice for my friends who have a PS3 and have missed out on Aht Urhgan since they last played FFXI.

It's a shame they wouldn't ship an Wings of the Goddess multiplatform pack for PS2, 360 and Windows for people like me. XD

Speaking of Warhawk, I still need to buy it. I think I'll get the in-store for the headset.


Also, WotG is now 4 months away or less from release, and we still now practically nothing about it other than a few small details from that interview a while back.


By this time (about Aht Urhgan) we already knew 2/3 of the new jobs, assault, besieged and more. C'mon SE, at least tell us one of the new jobs ^^b

Been wating for Gamestop to take preorders...well since getting TAOU was a pain without one!

I hope the PS2 all-in one pack is true but it could be Gamestop/EB making up stuff again.....

EBgames, Best Buy, Game Crazy and Gamestop in MN have no pre-orders set up yet and they don't even know what FFXI: Wings of Godess is. Maybe the next time Sylvia Brown is on The Montel Williams show I'll ask her when it really is coming out and all your summonable avatar questions...and also the one question everyone asks..."When am i going to find the right man/woman?"

I don't really see the point in coming out with a ps2 collection unless it comes with the HDD... SE's not going to attract any new ps2 players that way, because without the HDD the game is pretty much useless. Unless the person wanting to play on ps2 can somehow get their hands on just the HDD itself, off ebay or something. In which case it would be smarter just to try to find the ps2 HDD + FFXI pack.

I play FFXI on my PC but, I have an HDD in my PS2 that I installed myself (did not come with FFXI). One thing I don't know is if the size of the HDD matters, the one I have is 120G, and I believe the HDD is/was somewhat smaller.

Wierd...It souldn't be able to run FFXI since the PS2 HDD has some freaky custom firmware that work with the DNAS verification.(it'll keep you from connecting or so thay say)

The PS2 HDD is a 40 gig...

As for the PS3 it doesn't matter...I maen that's a standard SATA notebook PC drive!

You have to download a program from the PSN for FFXI to work on the Ps3
