Final Fantasy XI for the pc

hey guys i need a question that needs answering, i currently have an account on ff xi as you already know but i play it for the 360. to beable to play the same account on the pc will i need to install both FF XI + CoP + RoZ and treasures of ahrt urgan?

my current ff xi account has the cd-keys for all of the current expansions already. i know i require FFXI to beable to install it but will i need the expansions aswell?

You'll just need to install the software on your PC. You already have a registered account, so you don't need to re-register those expansions. If you have a friend that has the game, use their copy.

No, you don't but chances are you're going to get all of them anyway.

Technically you could just install the NA FFXI+RoZ base and just make sure to log out only in original areas. If you log out on the 360 in the Whitegate then try to log in on a system that doesn't have ToAU installed then you're not going to get in.

The Vana'diel collection has all the expansions anyway.

if you want a cheaper option there's the $3 starter pack. It has the whole install...just...well no reg codes for the expaions.

It doesn't matter since you already have an account...

I was just about to post exactly what Shadowneko posted. My husband did the same thing to get HIS account available on a second computer and we haven't had a problem with it YET, then again, the $3 starter pack says it's only valid for 30 days? I'm half-expecting the server to no longer recognize his game data when the 30 days expires, EVEN THOUGH he's using his own account to log in.

not to burst your bubble, but i think the $3 starter CD only has basic FFXI. you'll still need to install RoZ, CoP, ToA from somewhere

i think he mean he has the dvd for xbox360, but would need to buy a second copy for PC to install on said PC

Well, she also says that she keeps expecting the account to close after the 30 days is up, even though it won't, because that's completely stupid.
