I'm new to the game and love it so far. In the past I have played WOW and EQ, more recently EVE. I guess my question is what is the best way to get some Gil flowing and some XP

Kill things, sell everything that drops. Always get signet. Keep beastmen's seals.

Do quest, sell items. But if you are from WoW, be prepare, this is no walk in the park. Best way is find some friends and stick with them.

check peices in shops to the AH.

Stuff like magic from the magic shop in port San d'Oria seels soemtimes a lot higher on the Aution house because the Magic shop is tucked away.

But yeah, keep sorting your inventory to keep things stacked, sell stacks of 12 on the AH.

level your future subjob to 10. this usually means recycleing your equipment, and loads of saveings!

This question is asked by all, there is no real way to make gil. It's an mmorpg we cannot baby you throughout your levels. We need gil to and it's not easy with RMT's around.

What i suggest you do is go fight bee's (almost everywhere), crawlers (T. canyon, and outside windurst) sell their drops these stacks go for good amounts making a reasonable amount of gil per day.

If you're low-leveing crystals sill aren't that bad for gill. Other things from starter areas like Silk Thread, Rabbi Hides, Goblin stuff, behive chips, ETC is not bad on the AH eiter. If you sell these drops it should net you enough gill to at least get you lvl 7 1nd lvl 10+ armor.

This game is unlike WoW as only a few jobs can really level solo after about lvl 15-20. You're just gonna have to find a party to keep leveling XD

not 100% true, only a few are, some servers and some times ah is cheaper.
