I have a prediction that there will be not just three, not just six but a complete complement of every single job class in the game. Here's the list:
Replacing the 6 regular jobs -
WAR Swordsman - Tank, like war but swords over axes, defensive over offensive.
THF Assasin - Good evasion, 3rd eye and SA/TA like abilities, poison weapon ability
MNK Templar - A monk who can channel their power into clubs, staves and swords.
BLM Time mage - Focuses on enhancing, enfeebling and dark magic spells.
RDM Mystic Knight - Focuses spell power into their weapon.
WHM Chemist - Uses tools to cover healing, divine and elemental magic.
Then the 9 advanced jobs -
RNG Gunner - Bastok militia, Marksman with status affliction bullets. Hume
BST Choco Knight- Sandy militia, Calls steed similar to Dragoon, fights dismounted
BRD Dancer - Windy militia, Buffs like bard, charms like bst. Few offenive buffs.
PLD Royal Guard - Sandy mages, Spells from Divine and Dark magic. Tanks.
DRK Bezerker - Bastok mages, Spells from Enhance and Enfeeble magic. DDs.
SMN Magus - Windy mages, Spells from Elemental and Healing magic. Healers.
DRG Lancer - Sandy elite, Fierce charging abilities with interrupt, hate and knockback effects
SAM Viking - Bastok elite, throwing axes, TP focussed abilities
NIN Jester - Windy elite, Specialised throwing items with status effects, support abilities
Last but not least, ToAU jobs!
BLU Geomancer - Uses naturally occurring or pre farmed terrain for spellcasting
COR Pirate - Gambles and summons undead, using a fog cloud during daylight
PUP Evoker - Fights with staves and clubs alongside summoned spirits.
There you have it. 18 new jobs. I personally can't wait!
