Well I use Office at work until my eyes bleed, but I show up every day regardless, so I guess I can try.

Don't upgrade to Vista unless you are forced to. Atleast wait for SP1 to come out. Even Halo 2 can be "fixed" to work on XP.

This forum needs someone who's insane about Windows to balance out Mhurron and myself. Then again, I don't think those people exist.

I can fill that position in the interim, but in all honesty they're both bad. There isn't even a lesser of two evils. You just have to choose your poison.

Only reason I'm on Vista is because I'm familiar with the Windows line of operating systems.

like I was forced to for work ha... oh well, but really people are saying they have so much trouble with FFXI and Vista... and I have Vista HP 64-bit and have not had one problem since they released the Vista POL, and even before then I was able to get it to work by installing POL on an XP system first then overwriting the install files on the Vista machine......

FFXI has some great backstory behind it, and each expansion carries with it a wonderful, classic RPG-style story you'd come to expect from Square Enix. The world rivals any other created for a fantasy game. That's what keeps me glued to it, personally.

It keeps me making Videos CONSTANTLY. Me and Estya (Starving Artist) Constantly produce FFXI videos. The storyline is so rich and in depth it's crazy. I play Guild wars sometimes when I dont have the time for FFXI. The only thing I say I really like about Guild wars, is the fact that Cutscenes have fairly good Voice acting. not only that but your character actually speaks.

Even that pales in comparison to FFXI storyline. My Next Video Project is a Compilation. ALL the In game Cinematics in order. Im making a FFXI World movie set.
Focused Primarily on the Original tale and the two expansions involving the Ancients.
The Camaraderie, the story, the game play DIEnamics, I love it all. Even the impossibly tough (Easy prey) Rabbit that can own you ^^.

Awesome. I've been wanting to make FF XI movies for the longest time, except that I don't have FRAPs or any of those other high quality programs, or even a video editor ><


Been wanting to make a Super Smash Bros. style video showing off and introducing my character along with my friends ^^


Then there are some of those job videos... that NIN one is pretty awesome. A compilation of job videos. What the job does, what subs work in which scenarios and how [e.g. DRG/WHM for solo, or NIN/BLM] recommended foods/strats/WS etc etc...

It would be a lot of work and gil, but I think it'd be worth it especially if a lot of players (especially the new ones) see it.

I played at NA release, left for some other games (wow included) and am now back. I want to say that I'm here because FFXI brings something that I can't get with any other MMO, something substantially different. I just can't put my finger on what it is.

FFXI is known throughout for it's social interaction. It's probably the most socialist MMORPG out there on the net, or atleast in the top 5 (pay mmorpg's, including guildwars).

That's why i seem to enjoy this game, not only for friends but the vast majority of things you can do without this game and it's so much fun, new missions, jobs so much you can do here.

WOW is more free in controls, but game play ffxi has way more features. ;D

Yeah me and my Ls are working on that to.. the earring will be secondary for me...
I need the CS to finish the Dvd. So far im working on a DVD, along with Estya (Starving Artist), to compile all the Cinematics into a full length movie.
My dvd will Feature.. ALL Nation Missions, the rise of the zilart, Chains of Promathia, and treasures of aht urghan, with a preview for the Wings of the godess.
So it will be formatted as
Disc 1-2
Windurst Missions 1-6 up to the Shadow Lord
Rise of the zilart all mission.
Then Immediately after will come Chains of Promathia.
Wings of the Godess trailer.
Disc 3
Windurst Missions 6- end
Bastok storyline
Sandoria Storyline
Disc 4
Treasures of Aht Urghan
This will be my work in FFXI over the next few months. I've already recorded 100GB plus worth of high res video. so will take a while to edit it down. Im lookign at spring for completion.
/pant, now I know why movies take so damn long ^^.

If the Discs arent overly Huge i may Torrent them for Downloading.

Do you think those little Taru children pay for their schooling or does the Federation pay for it. The Duchy doesn't seem to be getting any richer, those taxes have to be going somewhere.
