What I wouldn't mind seeing is something similar from FFV. You cast Spellblade: Fire, as four orbs appears, turns into fiery red swords and gets absorbed into your weapon. ^^

isn't that somewhat similar to the current En-animations? A big vortex of the chosen elemental energy concentrates on the blade?

I was thinking more along the lines of the Water and Fire swords that Tidus used in FFX.

I believe there was one that had both ice and fire animations (these weapons all glowed with the energy 24/7 and were freaking beautiful)

Something just came to me that I totally forgot to foresee. How well do you think Mystic Knight could work as a Subjob? Depending if SE brings it out, it could be a viable sub for DDs. Of course I'm sure the spells might be weakened when being subbed who knows. I could be a good alternative as a subjob for DRK. (w/Greatsword.)
