Go to Windy Woods (or Windy Waters) exit, the event moogle is by the gate. He will tele you and give you a piece of event furniture.

For one, I think the moogles are gone, they where not there when I logged in about 20 mins ago.....

and two.... if you need Bastok THAT bad, one start over and choose bastok or make a mule and start it in Bastok

Saaaad, the event just ended today according to wiki. Heh, I guess the OPs destiny was to make the travel the hard way.

several servers never finished their moogles, by the by. so depending on the OP's server he wouldn't necessarily have been able to do it anyway.

thief is your best bet. i took my lv. 1 taru mule- Ieatgalka, from bastok to jeuno w/o any problem. just remember to set your HP as you go along and no need to rush and try to be really sneaky. just go around everything with plenty of room, if not double back a bit.

if you try to risk it, you might have to walk through all of meripheratateadasdfdaed mountains again (which btw, is the most retarded fuxing zone ever).

edit: you can choose which city to start in.

If you do make a long run like that, there are NPC's at each zone where you can set your HP. If you happen to die in a zone you can HP back to the start of that zone and try over.

If you are level 3 or lower you won't lose any exp doing this and can try as many times as it takes.

Yep, when you create your character you can choose in which city you wanna start, regardless of your race. You gain that citizenship too and can't change it till you rank up a bit.

The only difference is that "native" races get a ring with some kinda useful stats. but you can buy it later on with conquest points anyway. And it's nothing you have to worry much about.

Bastok - Galka, Hume
Sandy - Elvaan
Windy - Taru, Mithra

one of the first things i did when i first got this game was travel from sandy to bastok with a bunch of other low level people (think around level 7) it was one of the most funnest and exciting things i have done in game.....but i was a newb, but yeah we had to hp maybe twice but we made it, i was all excited to see bastok.....

You won't get a ring by default. It really doesn't matter.

You also get to start with the shame of being from Bastok
