Re: Take your job75 back to the Dunes = fun
I'm with ya Deeke. I had a lot of fun in the earlier levels, and I'd love to go back lvl capped, so long as my merits would apply as they normally would at the level. My old LS was small and diverse in lvl ranges, and I think it would be cool to help out a friend looking for a 6th member at the drop of a hat (because, for me, that's the best part of the game: fighting mobs with people you like). And without a static, it can be near-impossible to get a party of like-minded people and levels to go fight in an obscure zone, but this would make it easier. It would also give us the option of adding some challenge to quests or missions, if we feel like it. I can no longer fight Shadowlord as a lvl 55 RNG, for instance.
And I don't see why you shouldn't get merit points when doing this, since it would be a way for players to get a small material benefit. Of course it wouldn't be substituted for real meripo, but it's not intended for that, just as the exp reward in Besieged isn't intended to be the main source of exp for your character. You may go help your friend beat Ifrit Prime because you want him to have the summon and not for the 10k gil reward, but the money is a nice bonus.
