• Odin, Alexander and Spoiler Warnings.

Odin and Alexander have an established place in the ToA missions, but as I've been redoing and refreshing my memory on CoP 5-3 mission, there have been notable references to both of them if you're familiar with thier descriptions and charactarization in ToA.

    However, I'm a little confused

Lots of spoilers, might wish to look away if you're not too deep into RoZ, CoP or ToA,

This stuff all has my head spinning, but I'm starting to think there IS a connection between RoZ, CoP and ToA and that ToA is not some outside story. I'm not done on the CoP side yet, but totally current on RoZ and ToA. Just kinda interesting how much bigger that Northlands incident keeps getting.

Yeah, watch WTG wrap all the FFXI stories so far together and knock our socks off with awesomeness, then after that we start over in the far east/north/south.

I actually think they might hook in some East and North content. Aht'Urghan - the Freeport to Jeuno's Highpass - is now technically the "center" of FFXI, replacing Jeuno to a degree, so it would be remiss to not continue to update the goings-on in the Near East.

The northlands got expanded in CoP a little and it seems that, at least so far, the history of Sandoria pre-kingdom will play a big role. Those orcs came from somewhere to ruin the Davoi settlment and they came from thier empire beyond the northlands to do it.

And now guess why Megomak, some moblin overlord leader guy employs the whole population of the trolls to attack Al Zahbi. In fact, I wonder if there are multiple moblin 'tribes' on this religious search and accidentally the tribe of Megomak got closest to theit goal, while the tribe in the Lands of Altana got stuck with their statue ...

My guesses for the rest of the ToAU-storyline:

Rahzfad intends to use their newly built Colossus and the 5 fake astral candesances to power it along with Alexander's spirit. He comes right out and says that the Age of Judgment is upon us, and that this time he will decide how history and the laws of the land will be written.

Yeah I think these moblins had a similar goal and its why they're allied with the Trolls

Ok, I believe quqirn have really good eyes, but even I doubt he can see Tu'lia which is - as I understood - floating above Qufim from Nashmau.

He could, its possible to see Tu'Lia from Holarias Peak BC area (looks like a black speck in the sky, just look back as you are running up the hill).

Don't forget, Alex is being rebuilt from the parts of Proto-Ultima and Proto-Omega. Its possible that he won't look like the normal Church of Doom that we all know and love.

Re: Odin, Alexander and Spoiler Warnings.

Tu'Lia actually hovers above Ro'Meave if I'm not mistaken? Given that the hall of the gods (and the warp to Tu'Lia) are both there.

And it's quite likely that Alexander resides in some secret part of Nyzule in the sky. IMO, that would be freaking awesome >. >

As for whether or not it's the heart or brain, that's hard to tell. The 4 ruins are his propulsion and I believe guidance systems? (or were they stabilizers? I forget) While the center (Nyzul Isle) is the control center (aka brain)

So I guess yeah, it would be his "heart" up in the clouds assuming that's what SE has planned. I didn't know that there was a 6th indentation though, that's pretty cool.

What I would like to see though, is that he comes to like under the empire's power, but since the AC's powering him are fake, something goes wrong and it falls on us to find the remaining 5 before the empire/beastmen do.

My guess is the last Aht Urgan mission will be "The last verse".

I wouldn't hold my breath. This has very little to do with the Ancients or their Portal to the Gods. It wouldn't make sense to add a quest to the Apocalypse Nigh, when it is already resolved.

I'm more interested in the Fellowship quest, since SE said they had to make a lot of story progress before they continue it.

As I recall, Delkfutt's Tower was the power control center sending the crystal line energy to Tu'Lia. Tu'Lia should be above Ro'Maeve, being hall of the gods is what send you straight up there. Doesn't it look like you're being warped straight up? So why would it be over Qufim then?

Re: Odin, Alexander and Spoiler Warnings.

The stuff with the two Proto-Weapons is following: everytime when you trade a part of them to the NPC for Homam or Nashira gear, the guy tells you something like "well done, adventurer, this stuff will help the empire in the restoration of the divinity of light". He comes from Aht Urghan, so it is pretty clear what is used to build the new body for Alex.

About Fellowship: Wasn't there in the last storyarc that the Blessed Radiance or (and?) the Blighted Gloom once destroyed a kingdom. Light power and dark power and Vassago is clearly praying to a dark divinity - so, could these mirrors be a link to Alex and Odin? A small carrier of their might, slightly similar to Carbuncle's Ruby?
I wonder if the Blessed Radiance may be a shard (?) of a Candescence or if the two are parts of one of the Ancient Mirrors in the beastmen strongholds. But what is really interesting for me, is the question if SE just waits to release the new quests because they don't want to give away background information about the things happening in Aradjiah or if the second fellowship storyarc happens after the things in ToAU (and need perhaps a finished ToAU to be accessible).

Perhaps he/she means it's above Quifim is because the placement of Tu'lia on the region map?

Re: Odin, Alexander and Spoiler Warnings.

Tu'Lia is above Delfutt Tower. The crags send energy to the tower which sends the energy up. The traditional way of getting to Tu'Lia is through that tower, Eald uses it.

That comment about the pieces of Omega/Ultima being used to build Alexander is probably a throw-away one probably meant to get us excited about the then new expansion. The "new" Alexander was there as those ruins are ancient. It's more likely Omega/Ultima were originally apart of Alexander and the Zilart/Olduum/Kuluu/ect took it away from it.

Um... if I do this wrong, then sorry.
Likely the two companions of Aphmau are pieces of Alexander that are required.
