DRK Job Quest

    DRK Job Quest

    Hello All,

    Quick question: I was told that I had to kill 100 mobs with a sword to complete the DRK quest. Okay, but I was also told that ONLY a WAR can equip the sword. Question: Can only lv 30+ WAR unlock DRK then?

    No, but a lvl30 WAR can do it a lot faster then a lvl1 WAR. I did it with a lvl7 WAR.

    2 Things
    1 - Keep a tally of kills
    2 - Kills made by Weapon Skills do not count. To be on the safe side, just don't use any weapon skills (not a problem if you're only lvl1)

      I did it with 23WAR with 0 skill on bunnies.

      By the time I had finished I hadnt even learnt the first WS lol. I did it in 2 hrs iirc.

        I'm sorry that I posed my question so horribly. So, WAR is the only job that can unlock the DRK job?

          As far as unlocking the job quest, yes only WAR can use. Once you've unlocked it, DRK can use it as well, you repeat the 100 mobs deal to upgrade it to the Deathbringer GSword.

            Are there any other Advanced Jobs that can only be unlocked by a certain job?

              You can activate the DRK quest with any level 30 job. However, only Warrior can use Chaosbringer. I got my level 1 WAR to 7 with that sword, then unlocked DRK. I don't think any other advanced jobs require you to have a certain job leveled.

                I'll get the sword, take it home, and level my lv 6 WAR until DRK is unlocked! Thanks again.

                  You will want to lvl your WAR anyway to sub for DRK.
