I got Ifrit Prime to 1%. Then I died. With not enough time to recover and attempt again. ARGH!!!!!!!

I know exactly how that feels, except with promyvion, and self recovering bosses.

Oh, Ifrit was medding pretty good when I got up. As soon as his back was turned, I got up, and he was already at 11%.

Yeah, I think I died at more like 20% on my first avatar solo attempt. Just keep cool, watch your buffs, and try to time that Ni better next time. Oh, also keep Bio on him. It and Dia aren't resisted by avatars, even Fenrir. Since he's weak against water, might as well Poison too. He won't regen when he's DoTed, and that might've gotten you the win.

Oh, this was round 2 in the same BCNM. First time, I did die at 20%. This time, he got Warcry up, (immune to Dispel >.<), so Stoneskin couldn't last between Utsusemis, and my damage dropped. Waterday is coming up. I will own his face.

Hey, if you go after the others, mind if I join you? We can duo the others relatively easily, and I need to finish out getting the others anyways (have Garuda and Leviathan already, and their whispers, just need the other four). Up to you though; if your goal is to solo them, good luck.

I did the level 20 fights and have all the avatars, but I hear I need to do the big fights for the whispers anyway if I want Fenrir.

Prime Avatars resist everything unless it is of the element they are weak to. So at best, you can have Poison and Drown up on Ifrit, or a single elemental enfeeble on the other Primes.

Again, the avatar's natural elemental resistance doesn't work on Bio and Dia. Bio is the one enfeeble that I always cast on every avatar.

Not bad going!

My first avatar solo was Titan, died at like 45%.

After that, I did Ramuh, Ifrit and Shiva as well.

Ifrit I walked out with 32HP, 20MP and Convert used. I swear all avatars gain a Rage effect after so long.

Yea...all I go is gear for EVA, I count on misses a lot to prolong shadows. O-Hat, SH, 2 x Dodge Earring.

I never bother with dispel on avatars. Ever. Resists 99.9% of the time and the MP is too valuable for my lolelvaanmp.

Run in, Sushi, Buffs (RR!), run up, Dia, melee, recast buffs, win.

Didnt have the balls to do Levi and Garuda solo, since they heal themselves. My average avatar fight is 15 mins. I would prob run outta time on those 2.
