      I say if you get all jobs to 75, that SE sends a robot to your house, who will physically scrape your ass off your chair, and hold you outside in the sunshine as you thrash and squeal while the UV rays vaporize you.

        I could go with something small, the storage idea, a Maat's Cap +1 perhaps so long as it wasn't really a big step up on Maat's Cap but huge sweeping rewards? No thanks. All it's going to do is make PLing more widespread and the norm for longer which would pretty much take any enjoyment or challenge from levelling out of the first...40-50 levels?

        Plus you are going to have a lot more people playing jobs they don't enjoy and aren't interested in all the way up to 75 leading to gimped crappy parties full of people who don't know their job and don't care being much more common at all levels.

        Sorry but I seriously hope that SE doesn't introduce any big insentive to get all jobs to 75 all it will do is lower the standard of game play pre 75.

          I like the idea of being able to make a "custom" job from your 18 level 75 jobs. Make it the Mime job, only unlockable when you have completed a long quest that opens up after you hit 75 in all jobs. It could involve some events that focus a bit on each of the 18 jobs roles and/or story in some way, showing that you really do know and understand each job to the extent that you can fill any role at any time (essentially, prove that you're good enough to even be a Mime).

          As far as the customization part, just follow BLU as an example: have a certain amount of "set" points and slots for JAs, JTs, Spells, Weapons, etc, until you get the kind of combatant you want. Just like BLU, however, you'd only be able to put so much into your Mime, and so how you play it will be dependent on your gear and ability selection. Also, just like BLU, while Mime would have a wide array of abilities at its disposal, it's effectiveness in each would be slightly less than the actual, "true" job that possesses said ability naturally.

          Of course, it would have its own 2 hour, and be incapable of mimicing any other jobs 2 hour, but the ability to literally make your own job, and redefine it on the spot, should be enough power for anyone, and well within the rights of anyone who undertakes the task of filling out all 1350 levels that are currently availiable.

            I know it's a joke, buut from my understanding it's usually the people who focus all their attentions on one specific job, getting all the uberest gear and maxing their stats/merits who would be like this. Most people I hear about having all jobs 75 usually gimp their way to that point by having crappy gear and a low understanding of how to play said job well. It's easier to go 1-75 then it is to get some pieces of gear in this game imo.

              On the low end of the scale, something along the lines of Maat's cap, but sufficiently different to be obvious at a glance, and without needing examination. An outward sign that says "this character has all the jobs levelled to 75".

              It could even be an aketon, similar to those from the starting cities, but active in all cities including Jeuno and Whitegate. Those aketons have a movement+ while inside the city, but they have no real use outside that other than as a status symbol (and since every 3rd mule is wearing one, not much of a symbol either!)

                Kinda like mastering all jobs in FF5, you get 1 single final job that can wear everything, can use every abilities and can cast every spell.

                This assume you 75 every jobs, then you have to max every single merit available for them.

                      Nothing is necessary. You don't need anything. you can just buy on AH and get what you want. You dont need to play ffxi either. You dont even need to answer in this thread. its totally up to you. If there was no rewards in FFXI, it wouldnt be any point to do anything if you dont get something from what you do.

                            I've always thought of making a customizable job would be interesting. With some limits it wouldnt need to be overpowered either. But being able to make interesting combos and try out alot of stuff would be pretty much fun.

                                I'm against lvl 75 noobs as well. It tears me apart in parties when I play with them. Was in a pt where it was a DRK. he did about 100 dmg each fight. it was horrible. I wish the game showed statistics so the game told him/her how bad he/she is.

                                Maat Cap+ 1 yep. its a good idea. Could look a bit different too. just like Relic compared to original AF. A black one or something
