It has been so long everyone

Hi you all from a former FFXI player. I remember my hype for FFXI before 04 and when it finally came out I was so excited I almost cried after installation was done (yes Im a huge FF fan lol). I loved FFXI, I was one of the highest NA bards on my server and boy did it became a big problem when it comes to finding a PT because I did not speak JP. Back then JP for some reason.. did not like to PT with NAs. I would get a "I'm sorry" translation from them.

So I became a 75 bard... quit in 2005 due to drama in my HNMLS. It was the first NA HNMLS and they did not have any kind of point system which killed it for me. I became pissed when it did not matter if I came to any events because the loots were just given to "popular" kids in the LS. Eventually left- got EMO'd on. Thats all in the past now though.

So my addiction to FFXI is never over, I find myself always checking whats new. Corsair and PUP both are very interesting jobs. I cant find myself starting "over" though.. seeing as how long its been I dont think there is many low level characters thats new. It would be a problem when it comes to getting a PT too because of my mission rank and missing practically everything lol.

I was also wondering if you guys think SE would release 1 new server with the release of the Wings of the Goddess

Real new people, not so much, but there are always (almost always) people leveling low level jobs. Missions and whatnot would be done the same way as they have been for a while, with a good ls. I don't believe it would be as much of a burdan as you might think.
