Changed character creation?

Did they change the character creation in the 2007 Vana'diel collection? I only get a static image instead of the model running around. Under the FFXI Config tool simplified creation visuals is not selected.

Hm, you must have simple character creations visuals on. Go to Final Fantasy XI config, and under Misc. there is an option for "Simplified character creation visuals", just uncheck that, and it will go back to normal.

I believe they changed it so that if you can't run the full movies for one reason or another, it automatically uses simple character creation visuals. Used to cause FFXI to go to a total black screen and become unusable- actually happened to me when I first started.
