Problem trying to play!

Hey guys, I apologise if this is in the wrong forum but I just got the game and everything runs in perfectly, the expansions and all. but when i try to load the game up it comes up with the PlayOnline picture then comes up with: PlayOnline Viewer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Any help would be appreciated.

if it's vista...you need the vista version of POL...otherwise I would try doing check files on it ^^

no its not vista, its XP professional and im not sure what checking files on it is

When you first load POL you get the login screen (if you login automatically, go back one step after you load POL). From there you can see a "check files" option on the left. Click that and let it verify all your files are 100%. If they are then its going to be something else like a gfx card driver issue, or antivirus software, or direct X or something that isn't quite right about your OS.

i dont even get to the login bit, it just shows the OnlinePlay thing then crashes, and i would redownload my GFX drivers if i knew what they are... its two Nvidia 7600GT's running in SLI mode, any suggestions?

possibly silly suggestion:

directx version?

also, restart pc if you haven't since the installation (not that this should be the problem).

also, consider doing a reinstall on pol, maybe something silly got messed up in the install process.

well I just downloaded the latest directX about 5 mins ago so no problems with that, ill try re-installing and see how it goes from there

What is the error code it gives you?

Something like that would probably be best to call PlayOnline support about.

I do recall having that exact problem when I first played the game. Unfortunately it was all in Japanese so I wasn't able to get help with it, and I totally don't remember what I did to fix it.

Call POL and they'll probably be able to help you in a matter of minutes.

[Print Screen] -> Paint -> Edit -> Paste -> File -> Save As [JPEG] -> Upload to a website.
