        I used my sister's Mac to share the content of the DVD so I could install my copy of ToAU on my ancient PC... >_>;

          Uhh, just get a DVD-RW, or a DVD-ROm, you can get really cheap DVD ROMS for about 10-20$, and decently RW's for about 30-40. Seriously, most games are being released on DVD-ROM now a days because it's cheaper to put the content on 1 dvd, then 5 CD's.

            Go download a torrent of the DVD and just run it from your PC using a program that emulates DVD roms.

              Download code is for the buddy pass trial, not the full game. Just buy a DVD drive.

                  DVD-ROM is your best bet. Bestbuys will also install it for you. So get on it! :<

                    Yep, the download code is for a shitty connection to download an incomplete version of the game.

                    Being stubborn won't get you anywhere.

                      Hey guys, I want to play this FFXI game, but I don't have a computer, playstation or 360. What do you suggest?

                            I would assume I could do the same thing I did for Vanguard, you only need to download the client to patch to the live game (I downloaded the Vanguard beta from fileplanet which patched to the live version) since I have a legit copy of the game with cd codes.

                            ETA: there is a torrent for the 2007 collection, I found one.
